Abstract: | This paper presents an overview of the issue of national quality indicators based partially on a synthesis of the informed judgements of a number of respondents from throughout the world. With the assistance of Fran Ottobre and Bryan Dockrell, eighteen members of the International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) provided comments on the topic of quality indicators. Responses were received from Europe. Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East. These comments are considered within the context of selected literature on national quality indicators as well as the observations of the author. |
