| 摘 要： | 民族团结关系到国家统一、领土完整和边疆稳定，在中小学开展民族团结教育符合中华民族的根本和长远利益。文章论述了实施民族团结教育的重要意义；实施民族团结教育的途径。实施民族团结教育的途径主要包括：充分发挥课堂教学主阵地作用，推进民族团结教育进教材、进课堂、进学生头脑；以校园文化建设为载体，组织开展形式多样、内容丰富的民族团结教育活动；深入开展社会实践，增强民族团结教育的针对性和实效性；充分利用现有资源，建立民族团结教育基地。
