| 摘 要： | 教师职业素质是制约我国农村中学英语教学水平的关键因素。在全球化、信息化程度日益加深的背景下 ,增强农村英语教师的职业素质显得尤为重要。从农村中学英语师资队伍素质现状来看 ,学历相对较低 ,专业基础不够扎实 ,教育理念比较落后 ,教学方法过于传统等问题还比较突出。要提高这支队伍素质 ,必须各方面共同努力

| Abstract: | English teachers' competence is the most important factor in a rural high school, and it can restrict the teaching level.Under the circumstances of globalism and informationalization,it is crucial to strengthen teachers' qualications. As most of those teachers have some weak points of some kind, their competence must be improved with the efforts of all sides concerned. |
