| Abstract: | At present, the main types of digital library resources abroad include full text resources, secondary documents, multimedia resources, webs and gateways etc. Full text resources are composed of academic e-journals, open access databases, ebooks, enewspapers, e-dissertations and e-archives, while secondary documents contain the online access catalog and bibliographic databases. In the multi-media resources there are static and dynamic images, sound materials and cartoons. This paper mainly analyzes the traits of these resources by emphasizing the status quo of each type of digital library resources abroad, such as their developing procedures, the analysis on representative resources, as well as their providers. |
