禅宗的"顿悟成佛"对唐宋之际寺僧经商的影响

唐宋之际,禅宗几乎成为中国佛教的代名词,其影响遍布大江南北.当时寺院僧尼的经商行为也较之前代更普遍,形式更多样,更加堂而皇之而不顾及原始佛教教义的约束.究其因,主要是受到当时商品经济大潮的冲击,而禅宗教义和修行方法的简易及其成佛主张则更为有力地促进了寺僧思维方式和行为的变化.

The Influence of Becoming the Buddha after Sudden Realization to Truth of Chan Sect on the Monks in Business in Tang and Song Dynasties

In Tang and Song Dynasties, Chan Sect almost became a synonym for Chinese Buddhism which had a great influence throughout the country. At that time, the business run by the monks was even commoner than before with various forms and without the bounds of the doctrines of original Buddhism. This paper explains the reason for this and thinks that it was mainly influenced by the then commodity e conomy, in particularly Chan Sect's doctrines and methods of practicing Buddhism, and the stand of becoming the Buddha promoted much strongly the changes of the monks' thinking ways and their actions.
