桑愉和他的篆刻艺术

桑愉是我国20世纪后50年凸现的杰出的篆刻家之一,因过世较早,对其篆刻艺术的研究不多。本文钩沉了桑愉的生平、交游,历史地阐发其美学思想,揭示其以汉金文为基点、以“方刀治印”为特质,与黟山派拉开距离、自树一帜的艰苦过程,探讨了其艺术作品内涵及其当代意义。

Sang Yu and His Seal Cutting

Sang Yu was one of outstanding seal cutting masters emerging in the late fifties of 20th century.There are few studies of his art of seal cutting due to his early death.This article makes clear of his lifetime and associations,expounds his aesthetic thought,reveals his hardships in developing a school of his own based on the characters of Han and Jin Dynasties and characterized by "Fang Dao Zhi Yin",which was separated from "School of Yi Mountain",and probes into the connotation of his article works and modern significance.
