| Abstract: | This paper describes the procedure used by the University of Houston Libraries for creating on-order records in the acquisitions system from bibliographic records downloaded from the Libraries' cataloging utility, OCLC. Changes in technical services work routines and efficiencies gained by this process are also analyzed. |
