My Special Pets

I have dreamed of having my own pets for a long time. However, every time I suggested adopting one like a dog or a cat, my mother would just say NO decisively because she was in fear of all animals in the world except human beings. I tried every means from crying crazily to heated debates with her, but that just made no sense.
