| 摘 要： | 层递（Climax）是增强语言艺术表达效果的重要修辞手段之一，每种语言都有着自己特色的层递。本文通过对中外两首诗歌——How Do I Love Thee和“上邪”——文化背景，特别是修辞上的对比，形象、具体地说明层递（Climax）的特点和运用层递的原因。

The paper has analyzed the differences and similarities of two different poems, the sonnet How Do I Love Thee and Shangye, to illustrate the characteristics of climax from the culture background and rhetoric device, and the reason why being used as well. |
