| 摘 要： | This essay will analyze the heroine of 《Tess of the D'Urbervilles》 Tess by referring to the image"a bird in trap", First, two features of the bird, namely"a daughter of nature"and"to fly"are used to describe Tess' characteristics. Then, it is reasoned that how the bird falls into the trap, and what the trap refers to.
