摘    要:美国"全国大学生认同感调查"的成功在于其基于"内省"精神抵制简化的做法。其"内省"精神意味着:要认识到教育的不平衡性,认识到教育要精益求精,教育要专注于具体的教学。其抵制简化的实践有三个方面的内容,分别为:"独立的个人"应成为大学教育的培养目标,统一的数据不应用来表达大学教育的质量,排行榜不应用来判断大学教育的质量。

Abstract:The reason for the success of America′s National Survey of Student Engagement(NSSE) lies in its resistance to reductionism based on its spirit of "look within".To "look within" is to recognize that the education is uneven,and that the education should be better and better.To "look within" also means that the weakness must be analyzed,and that the special learning and teaching must be focused.Resistance to reductionism has three aspects of meaning.The first is that the individual should be the goal of higher education.The second is that uniform data should not be used in higher education quality.The last is that university ranking should not be used to judge higher education quality.
