Present Situation, Causes and Counter-measure of Crimes by University Students

Statistics discloses that crimes by university students have been on increase ever since 1998 when universities enlarged considerably its enrollment size, and so has been its ratio in all criminal cases. Judicial practices show that crimes by university students are characterized by concentration on certain specific offenses, relative subjective evil, etc. Causes of crimes by universities students may be analyzed from plural perspectives, such as influence of societal negative environment, criminal sub-culture, single-parent family and absence of psychological consultation in universities. On the basis of above explanation, this article suggests that a comprehensive and proactive prevention mechanism be established.
