| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体和写照。作为熟语的一种,谚语反应了文化的精髓。汉英谚语中的文化差异体现在宗教信仰和道德观念等方面。在汉英谚语的翻译当中,经常使用直译法、意译法、直译和意译兼用三种翻译策略,使得翻译更加忠实于原文,尤其忠实于原文的文化内涵。
