不可言传的GROOVE——浅谈西方流行文化中的不可译现象

进入20世纪之后,西方流行文化日新月异,随之诞生的各种新词怪词层出不穷。这些词运用的范围非常广,在以前也不存在任何约定俗成的用法,并且由于中西方巨大的文化差异,可以说,它们之中有很多都是＂不可译＂的。由于西方流行文化的传播十分迅速,在全球范围内影响深远,解决这一＂不可译＂问题意义重大。本文通过groove一词展开来对西方现代流行文化中的不可译现象进行了分析,初步归纳并探讨了其解决方法。

On GROOVE that can only be Sensed: A Brief Discussion on Untranslatablity in Western Popular Culture

Ever Since the world stepped into the 20th century,western pop culture has been changing with each passing day,thus generating innumerous new and strange words and expressions in the process,which have been used in a wide range of fields.They are mostly unique and their translations don＇t have any precedent to follow.Many of them are arguably ＂untranslatable＂ for the enormous disparity between Oriental and Occidental cultures.As the western pop culture expands swiftly,it has attained a very vast and deep influence around the world.As a result,it＇s vitally important to solve this problem of ＂untranslatablity＂.By analyzing the word ＂groove＂,this paper discusses the phenomenon of ＂untranslatability＂ in modern western pop culture,and makes a primary generalization and exploration of its solutions.
