| Abstract: | This paper reviews the development of tissue culture of pineapples.A large number of seedlings are induced and produced by buds,stems and leafs as explants.Callus is induced by using the flesh and seeds as explants and finally renewable seedlings are obtained.Increasing attention is being paid to the transgenic pineapple. |
