| Abstract: | Based on functional theory of translation, the present article probes into some problems of misinterpreting and mistranslating found in three translations of Spivak's Three Women's Text and a Critique of Imperialism as well as the criterion of western critical theory translations from the perspective of the translation purpose/TT function of the source text and the target readership. |
