论D·H·劳伦斯意象中的“伊甸园”

摘    要:劳伦斯在其作品《查泰莱夫人的情人》中.把主人公查泰莱家族的猎场构建成了一个意象中的“伊甸园”,作为本中意象的本源.把客观叙述与主观意象叠合,具有较强的隐喻性。本源中的林中小屋、挺拔的古树、山花、植物以及赤裸的躯体等是意象的支源模式。意象中的“伊甸园”为叙述创造了不断的、自然的和流畅的语义条件.使意象处于变化之中.阐述人类性爱的命题。主观上.作是在寻求摆脱由工业明给人们带来的精神上的压抑和肉体上的折磨.追求具有丰富的精神内涵又有完整生活的人生.但客观上,表明了作的狭隘性和极端性,暴露了他的逃避哲学和价值观念。

Abstract:D.H.Laurence establishes his Eden from the woods in his Lady Chatterlay's Lover as the main source of image of a sacred place. He builds his narrations upon an image he creates, which produces a strong metaphorical effect. From the main source stem many other sub-sources of images like the cabin in the woods, the tall and dignified trees, the wild flowers, the plants and the man's naked body. The Eden of image, always in change, is the fountain that springs out the sexual love story of human beings. The story shows his intention to avoid the mental depression and physical torture from the industrial civilization and to seek the richness and completeness of life. On the other hand, however, it reveals the narrowness of the author's mind and exposes his values of escapism.
