| Abstract: | In order to maintain social stability and ease ethnic conflicts,the Qing government has adopted a series of effective preferential measures to the minorities and the outlying and backward areas in the imperial examination.These measures promote the educational development in such areas and reflect the significance of harmonious development of culture and education among nationalities and areas. |
