| 摘 要： | 依照黑格尔的辩证美学,鲍桑葵《美学史》对"丑的理论"做了历史性的梳理与批判,认为丑与美的辩证统一才能全面地显现理念,由于世界之矛盾地生成的最高目的是至善、绝对公正的持存性系统,所以,没有绝对的丑,只有相对的丑,而且如果没有丑,美的具体变化就不能产生。

| Abstract: | In line with Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel＇ s approach to aesthetics, Bernard Basanquet made a histori- cal and critical investigation into the ＇ aesthetic theory of ugliness ＇ , holding that the dialectical unity of ugliness and beauty can lead to better comprehension of concepts. Since summum bonum and supreme absolute justice are the ultimate goals of this world, there is no absolute ＇ugliness＇ , but only relative ＇ugliness＇ without which, the concretization and evolution of beauty would be impossible. |
