中外远程教育发展形势及政府支持情况比较

现代远程教育不论是在我国，还是在世界其他国家，其发展的历史并不长，但发展却比较迅速。究其原因，当然不止一个，但其中国家给予适当的政策支持却是一个重要的因素。本文就国际上远程教育的发展形势，结合一些国家的政府支持情况，做以比较，从中我们可以看到，政府的重视、支持，包括财政上的拨款、有关的法规、完善的评估和鉴定体系都是远程教育得以维持、发展和提高的重要原因。文章最后从借鉴中提出进一步发展我国远程教育的几点策略性建议。

A Comparison between the Development of Distance Education at Home and Abroad

Distance education has a short history in both China and foreign countries, but it develops rapidly with the help of the governments. This paper, based on some analyses, makes a comparison between the developments of distance education in some countries. It holds that governments' support is of vital importance to the growth of distance education. In the end of the paper, the author puts forwards some suggestions to further develop distance education in our country.
