| Abstract: | By reviewing and reflecting on the practice of Hainan during its 15 years as a province, this paper aims to scrutinize the impact of various external and internal factors on the formation of developmental orientation and on the economic, social development in Hainan. Moreover, the basic features and ideological sources of some irrational measures taken are also probed into in the paper. It is opined that the key to the future development of Hainan lies in adopting a series of measures in line with the reality of Hainan. |
