浅议大学英语教学模式

大学英语教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力。而学生的英语综合应用能力需要学生自身大量的英语实践活动来实现。在“以学生为中心”的教学模式中,教师应该为学生提供良好的语言实践环境,帮助学生搭建施展能力和展示才华的平台,从而激发学生的学习热情,挖掘学生蕴藏的学习智能,提高学生的语言应用能力、创新能力、自主学习能力。

Brief Talk on College English Teaching Mode

The aims of college English teaching are to cultivate students' comprehensive ability to use English. And it is only the students' great deal of practices by themselves that can make it come true. The paper explores how the teacher provides the students with the circumstances to practice their English, helps the students to display their ability with the "student-centered" teaching mode in order to stimulate the students' enthusiasm for studying, discover their latent power and cultivate their creative ability, autonomic learning ability and their comprehensive ability in English.
