| 摘 要： | 文章将语篇分析理论中的重要概念———主位结构,运用到英汉翻译研究当中,对两种语言的主位进行对比,并试图分析这种差异在翻译结构转换中的应用。英语是一种主语突显的语言,而汉语则是话题突显,反映在主位结构上的差异便是英语的主位多是主语主位,而汉语多是话题主位,甚至小句中的主语还常被省略。因而,在英汉互译中,主语和话题的转换便是常见的技巧之一。

| Abstract: | This paper tries to apply thematic structure into translation study, to contrast English and Chinese thematic structures and then to analyze how the difference is used in translation shifts. English is subject-prominent, while Chinese is topic- prominent. Reflected in thematic structure, the difference is that there is more subject theme in English and more topic tiptoe in Chinese. Besides, subject in Chinese clause is often omitted, which is quite different from English. Therefore, the shift of subject and topic is a skill widely used in translation between English and Clfinese. |
