Abstract: | Describes the design and expected performance of a contact-cooled monochromator for use under condition of heat fluxes up to 0.5 W/mm2 and total power about 100 W.The monochromator has a cross section in the shape of letter T.FEM analysis was made of the monochromator.Taking the displacement data of the crystal into SHADOW, rayt racing result shows that the T monochromato r has a better performance than the regular base-cooling monochromator, especially in the higher photon energy range. |
