一事无成人渐老,六韬三略总成空——焦亮生平述评

焦亮是太平天国运动中的重要人物 ,他以会党首领的身份参加太平军 ,在太平天国早期运动中有过突出贡献。更难能可贵的是他对太平天国的宗教理论、政策措施的某些局限性有着深刻的认识 ,并竭力批判之 ,力图改造之 ,但因其农民阶级自身的局限 ,焦亮终未能施展抱负 ,最后在永安被俘 ,英勇就义。

A Comment on the Life of the Tragic Hero Jiao Liang

Jiao Liang was an important figure in the TaiPingTianGuo Movement. He joined the TaiPing Army as a union leader and made great contributions to the movement in its early stage. The most commendable quality of Jiao Liang was his profound cognition to the limitations of the religious theories and other policies of TaiPingTianGuo and his courage to criticize them as well as his efforts to reform them. However, due to the limitations of the peasantry class itself, he failed to realize his great ambitions and was killed after his arrest. Jiao Liang became a tragic hero.
