从城乡二元结构看和谐社会的社会公平

社会公平是构建和谐社会的支柱与基础，但我国目前仍然存在的城乡二元结构则成为社会公平的障碍，它使城乡居民从身份到待遇处于不平等状态。导致城乡差距、地区差距乃至个体差距越来越大。构建公平正义的社会主义和谐社会，必须逐步消除城乡二元结构，确立社会发展的公平起点。

Social justice is the pillar and foundation of constructing the harmonious society, but the existing binary urban- rural structure poses an obstacle to this endeavor. It treats residents in urban and rural areas unequally in terms of social status and welfare. As a result of such a system, urban-rural disparity, regional disparity, even individual disparity becomes greater and greater. Therefore, to build the socialist harmonious society of fairness and justice, it is a must to eliminate the binary urban--rural structure steadily and establish a fair starting point of the social development.
