《老井》电影改编研究

吴天明导演的电影《老井》改编自郑义的同名小说,电影在改编时对原著中的人物形象和故事情节做了一定的改动,影片在表现3个人物时的共同特点是突出其身上的传统美德,弱化对其鲜明个性、反抗性的表现。主要改动的情节包括孙旺泉父亲去世情节的提前、神话迷信情节的删除以及以打井石碑结尾的处理等,使得影片与原著相比更强调生存的艰苦,赞颂民族的牺牲奋斗精神,却缺乏对传统文化的远距离审视。探究改编的原因,一方面是小说与电影不同艺术形式导致的差异,另一方面也与小说作者和电影导演不同的文化认同和情感倾向有关。

A Study on Movie Adaptation of Lao Jing

The film Lao Jing directed by Wu Tianming is adapted from Zheng Yi’s novel of the same name.The film has made some changes to the characters and plots of the original work.The common featureof the three characters in the film is to highlight their traditional virtues and weaken their distinctive personalities and resistance.The main changes in the plots include:the death of Sun Wangquan’s father in the film is earlier than that in the original novel,the superstitious plots are deleted,and the ending of the stone tablet is also different from that in the novel.Compared with the original works,the adaptation emphasizes the hardship of survival,praises the national spirit of sacrifice and struggle,while lacks criticism of traditional culture.The reasons for adaptation lie in,on the one hand,the differences caused by different artistic forms between fictions and films,and on the other hand,the different cultural identities and emotional tendencies of the novelists and the film directors.
