新时期地方高校图书馆发展的思路

本文分析了地方高校的自身特点 ,提出了地方高校图书馆的合理定位 ,应围绕教育职能方面多作文章 ;信息资源建设应重点满足教学需要 ,讲求特色化 ;自动化网络化建设应逐步实施分步走 ,以及建立适应自动化网络化需要的人才队伍结构等思路。

New concept of the development of libraries in community colleges in the new Era

In this paper the author has analyzed the distinctive characteristics of community colleges.Based on these characteristics, the libraries in the locally-run colleges should play a rational role and the key function of libraries should be to serve the teaching work of the colleges.From this point of view,the building of information resources should aim to the needs of teaching affairs;the information supplied should be viewed to the specific courses offered.The construction of automation and networks should be carried out step by step. Moreover,in terms of staff training,the libaries should have a team of staff at differentages who have been armed with modern libarary knowledge and skills.
