两种翻译作业方法的对比实验研究

摘    要:对60名同一水平受试的10次翻译作业总分进行独立样本t检验,结果显示:课内作业与课外作业在翻译质量上存在显著差异,课外翻译作业质量优于课内作业,课外翻译作业有利于培养学生自主学习的能力,但对低水平学习者似乎没有显著效果。

Abstract:In order to find out which way is more effective, in-class or out-class translation assignments, this research aims to test the total scores of ten translation exercises submitted by 60 subjects of the same level for independent samples t test. The study results show that taking its total effect into consideration, there is a significant difference between the in-class assignment and the out-class one, and better translation quality lies in the latter, which has been proved to be conducive to students' ability of self-learning, whereas there seems to be no significant result to those passive learners of low English proficiency in the latter practice.
