| Abstract: | Recent development in the field of rare earth aluminates long phosphorescent materials were reviewed systematically. Such materials have a large field of application and have become a new research centre. The development history, luminescent mechanism and the preparation of these rare earth aluminates were summarized. In addition, the prospects of these luminescent materials were proposed also. |
