| Abstract: | Based on the relevance theory,the paper holds that discourse repetition is an ostensive-inferential process surveying some topics,in addition,it is the best way to seek for optimal relevance and help listeners to understand the utterance better.Consequently the paper justifies discourse repetition based on the former statement. |
