| Abstract: | Department of Geology,Peking University,founded in 1909,was the fi rst department of geology established in higher education institutions of China. The year of 2009 welcomes the 100th anniversary of foundation. The paper articulates the process of fighting ways in the past century and developing continuously,and generalizes the brilliant achievements of cultivating talents elaborately and talents coming forth in large numbers. Facing the future,deepening reform and scientific development,People of department of geology, Peking University will strive hard to make it be the first class department of university in the world. |
