音乐的题材及要素探索——反思艺术学基础理论体系的范畴缺失

由于音乐的非语义性和非造型性,它的题材及要素应怎样界说,迄今很少有理论涉及。音乐是以抒发感情为目的、表现情绪为过程的艺术现象。据此,题材要素可确立为意绪、意向、意境。一个乐句或一个乐汇是相对独立却并不完整、表情明晰却不够深入的音乐元素。即意绪。意绪之内乐音关系及意绪之问显现的情绪发展方向,都属于意向。二者构成的令人留连忘返、物我两忘而用语言难以描述清楚的艺术境界即意境。

A Probe into the Theme and Elements of Music -- Reflections on Lack of Categories in the Basic Theoretic System of Artistic Studies

Due to the non-semantic and non-formative nature of music, there has been rare theory of how the boundary between the themes and the elements of music should be defined. Music is the artistic phenomenon to express the emotion and the mood. Therefore, the theme and the element of music should be defined as emotion, intention and artistic conception. Certain piece of music is comparatively independent but not a integrity is called emotion. The direction of notes implying can be defined as intention. The two together construct the vague feeling which can not be clearly expressed with language is the mood.
