一种立方晶体调制器的设计

目的设计一种新型光电调制器.方法利用立方晶体的横向电光效应.结果由于采用立方晶体的横向电光效应,相位延迟与外加电场及晶体长度成正比,输出与输入功率的比值与外加电场和晶体长度的乘积相关,所以可通过改变外加电场大小、晶体长度、电场大小与晶体长度乘积调节相位延迟;改变电场大小与晶体长度乘积改变输出与输入功率的比值对辐射振幅进行调制;同时对同一立方晶体在不改变电场大小的条件下,仅通过改变电场的方向也可得到不同的相位延迟和辐射振幅.结论相比于一般纵向电光调制,横向电光调制具有电场可选择方向多,调节方便,功率损耗小等优点.若能对双折射引起的相位延迟和温漂进行控制,将具有重要的实践价值和现实意义.

A Design of Cubic Crystal Modulation

Aim To design a new sort of electro-optic modulation.Methods Use horizontal electro-optic effect of cubic crystal.Results Because the adoption of the horizontal electro-optic effect of the cubic crystal,mutually delays to become the direct proportion with the in addition electric field and the crystal length,the specific value of the outputting power and the inputting power relate to the products of in addition electric field and crystal lengths,so can change the size of in addition electric field or the crystal lengths or the products of electric field sizes and crystal length to regulate mutually delay;or change the product of electric field size and the crystal length to change the specific value of the outputting power and the inputting power to change the radiation of flap; also can get different mutually delays and flap of radiation throughchanging the direction of electric field only under the condition of not change the electric field size and crystal.Conclusion Compare in generally lengthways lectro-optic effect,the horizontal lectro-optic effect have more eligibility direction of the electric field,regulate the convenience,the power exhausts small etc.advantage.If can control the mutually delays and temperature drift causing of dubble refract,it will have important vlue of pactice and ralistic meaning.
