高职英语教学应重视朗读与背诵

高职高专院校的英语教学目前一直是近年来广大教师关注的问题,学生基础较差,听、说、读、写能力较为薄弱,无法面对激烈的社会竞争.因此,我们高职高专院校的英语教学应以实用为原则.朗读和背诵作为简便易行的教学手段,如果能加以善用,则能起到促进学生听、说、读、写等各方面综合能力的作用.

English Language Teaching in Higher Vocational College Should Attach the Importance to Reading Aloud and Reciting

English language teaching in higher vocational colleges has always been the focus of the teaching staff.Facing the fierce competition,the graduates from these schools are not able to adapt to the society just because they are weak in basic skills.And it is a hard job for teachers to teach them effectively.Therefore,the author suggests that English language teaching should be based on reading and reciting to achieve the goal of enhancing the students' comprehensive capability such as listening,speaking,reading and writing as well.
