| Abstract: | The Book of Dong Guan Zou Ji, carries the authentic record of imperial events during the rule of Emperor Xuan of the late Tang Dynasty. Upon this important book of history, there are various problems left unsolved in the previous studies by a number of Chinese scholars. The present article is an identification and differentiation of controversial views concerning its author, editions and stylistics in order to clarify the existing misconceptions and, in addition, to bring upon new areas of study on the subject. |
