优秀文化传统与人文精神重建

人文精神主要指一种追求人生意义、肯定人的价值、谋求个性解放、关注人类命运的终极关怀意识和自觉践履意识。从这个意义上说，人文精神决不是一个内容单薄的孤立性概念，而是具有丰富内涵的观念集合体；决不是一个恒定不变的概念，而是一个变动着的历史性概念。为了使2l世纪的世界变得更加美好，人们必须正视并勇敢地迎接通德失落、生态环境恶化等由工业化带来的挑战和威胁，重建人文精神。中国文化中存在着一以贯之的人文精神传统，这是重建中国文化的人文精神的重要思想资源。

Excellent Culture Tradition and the Rebuilding of Humanism

Humanism refers to the pursuit of life meaning, the affirmation of human value, the seeking of individuality liberation, the ultimate concern consciousness of paying close attention to human fate and the consciousness of conscientiously fulfilling one's duty. From this meaning, humanism is not an isolated concept that has few contents but an aggregation that has abundant connotation. It is not an unchangeable historic concept but a changeable one. In order to make the twenty-first century more beautiful and to rebuild humanism, people must face squarely and meet morality decline, ecological environment worse and race degeneration, which are challengeablc and threat people because of industrialization. The humanism tradition that exists all along with Chinese culture is the important resource to rebuild humanism in China.
