| Abstract: | The advances in genetic transformation (gene transfer) of turfgrasses were systematically reviewed. The limitation of recent transformation techniques for turfgrass breeding was analyzed and the strategy for the future development of turfgrass transformation was proposed. The information provided in this paper possesses important values both for research and for application of turfgrasses. |
