| Abstract: | Zhou Enlai's philosophical debate and talk do not only embody the new diplomatic principle which is the integration of Chinese traditional culture and modern dialectical materialism, but also refract his own moral character, with his debate concise, his reasoning logical and sensible, and his diction swift and fierce. A close examination and a careful discrimination of the linguistic expression at a highly strategic level shows that humor is the most wonderful movement of diplomatic phraseology as well as the shining point of Zhou Enlai's wisdom. |
