| 摘 要： | 从修辞和句法的角度,探讨以《中国日报》和《新华网英文频道》为代表的中国主流媒体在2010年亚运英语新闻标题表达上的特点和规律,并分析部分英语标题使用中值得商榷的地方,旨在帮助英语受众更好地了解掌握亚运赛事进展,从而更好地宣传亚运文化,让世界更全面地了解中国。

| Abstract: | Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games attracts world-wide concern.The article first discusses the rhetorical features and syntactic characteristics of the headlines of English news on Asian Games from China Daily and Xinhuanet.By analyzing some typical examples,the author proposes the possible improvements to compose better headlines of English news in attempt to promote better understanding of China for the English-speaking readers. |
