试论高等学校的定位与改革

“科学技术突飞猛进，知识经济已现端倪，国力竞争日趋激烈”，积极地发展高等教育迫在眉睫。高校如何把握好这个机遇，顺势而上；找准自己的位置，走自己的路，创自己的品牌，实现较好的社会效益和办学效益，是我们当前急需研究解决的问题。本试图对此做些探讨，提出立足当地经济和学校实际，深化教育改革，调整结构、优化资源配置，走一条求真务实的路、一条符合自身发展规律的路。

Facing the opportunities and challenges, t hey should creat their own brand and finding their own strategics based on prop er positioning for the benefits of both themselves and the whole society become a very important issue for universities.In the essay,the author thi nks that in their efforts to evolvc, colleges and universities should take into full account thcir own realities and the local econmy in formulating policie s to deepen educational reform,adjust the structure and improve resource alloc ation.
