| 摘 要： | 在高等教育大众化、教育资源短缺等因素的影响下,英国在1993～2001年间进行了规模宏大的高校学科评估。学科评估提升了教学在英国大学的地位,但也存在如耗资巨大、评估体系不完善、高校学术自主受到侵蚀等问题。英国从2002年开始的新的质量保证体系“院校审核”试图解决这些问题。英国的学科评估正处于不断改进之中。

| Abstract: | Under the influence of higher education massification and lack of educational resources,the UK implemented a large-scale subject review from 1993 to 2001. The review has enhanced the role of teaching in British universities,but such problems as high cost,faulty review method and erosion of academic autonomy have followed. The new quality assurance system - institutional audit beginning from 2002 has been trying to solve these problems. The subject review in the UK is in the constant improvement. |
