On Huangzunxian's Thought and Practice of Western Learning in His Old Age |

| Abstract: | Huang Zunxian was dismissed from office in his late years. However, he thrown himself into diffusing western learning. One the one hand, he kept a close watch on Liang Qichao's tenets of running the newspapers, and corrected it. On the other hand, he popularized the latest type elementary school education in his hometown, and put his thought into practice. |
