| 摘 要： | 英语词汇具有灵活性、多元性和开放性特征;汉语词汇却具有单一性、封闭性和排他性特征。英汉词汇特征截然不同的根本原因就在于中西文化差异。即英汉民族所处的历史背景不同,传统政治价值观不同,传统文化心理不同和所处的地理环境不同。

| Abstract: | English lexis has open, multisource and flexible characteristics, while Chinese lexis has closed, single-source and exclusive characteristics. The main reason for the contrasts between English and Chinese lexical characteristics is the cultural difference between England and China. The two countries have different historical backgrounds, different political values, different cultural psychology and different geographic environment. |
