Zhejiang marine economy takes on the following characteristics： firstly, it is developing very quickly; secondly, the absolute advantage of the secondary and tertiary industry has been established, but the development of the tertiary industry should be strengthened; thirdly, the industrial concentration has been descending and multiple industries arc developing jointly; and last, competitive industries are developing diversifiedly and have evolved from the first-class industry district to the fourth-class one.
