Technical Education in the Middle East

Oil and allied industries have brought increasing wealth to the Middle East and a recognition by individual governments of pressing educational requirements. While sharing certain problems, such as overcrowded classes and a lack of specialist teachers, with Europe, other aspects of educational growth in this area are unique.
