| 摘 要： | 《热铁皮屋顶上的猫》是田纳西.威廉斯的三大代表作之一,而其作品中的主要人物布里克的同性恋问题是剧中的中心问题。文章从布里克的同性恋问题入手,分析因同性恋问题而与家庭、社会的关系僵化、决裂等原因而产生的一系列的心理巨变而最终导致布里克的异化过程。

| Abstract: | Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is one of the three representative plays by Tennessee Williams, and Brick is the hero of the play; the focus question of the whole play is Brick＇s gay issue. It intends to explore the effects of Brick＇s gay issue upon his life both at home and society, and the process of his personality alienation. |
