自由:社会治理的最高原则

自由是自我实现的根本条件,二者成正相关变化:一个人越自由,他的个性发挥得便越充分,他的创造潜能便越能得到实现,他的自我实现的程度便越高。自由是每个人自我实现、发挥创造潜能的根本条件,同时也是社会繁荣进步的根本条件。因为社会进步的一切要素,都不过是人的活动的产物,都不过是人的能力发挥之结果,因而说到底,无不以自由为根本条件。因此,自由是人道的根本原则,是社会治理的最高原则。

Freedom:The Ultimate Principle of Social Governance

Freedom is the primary premise of individual's self-actualization.Freedom and self-actualization are in the positive correlation,therefore,a greater freedom brings out better individuality,creativity and self-actualization.Freedom is also the primary premise for social progress and prosperity as the factors important to any social development are all related to man's activity and to his exertion of potential ability.Hence freedom is the primary principle of humanism and also the ultimate one in social governance.
