摘    要:本文介绍了小波理论在大型发电机内部故障保护中的应用 ,重点分析正交小波在检测各种内部故障中的效果 .仿真结果表明 ,由于故障波形通常表现为不规则和暂态的行为 ,新方案将能取得很好的保护灵敏度 ,并能可靠地应用于保护装置

Abstract:This paper introduces wavelets and investigates the feasibility of detecting various types of stator internal fault of large synchronous generator with the wavelet transform(WT), particularly the dyadic orthonormal wavelet transform. And the simplified analysis of the effects of the WT on detection of internal faults is presented. Because most fault information often presents as irregular and transient waveform, the proposed technique would be efficient and useful for the generator protection relaying. The simulation results show this new approach is suitable for application to protection devices.
