清末长沙街头文化及其公共性转变的背景

长沙的街头文化在清末维新运动前后呈现出截然不同的两种形态,由传统城市文化的私人性、等级性、宗法性和封闭性,逐步转变为开放性、平等性和公共性。公共性是现代城市文化的一个本质属性之一。维新时期长沙改良精英对地方自治的追求,首先表现在对城市公共领域的介入上,这也是长沙街头文化公共性转变的动因之一,而长沙的开埠,则为街头文化的变迁提供了物质条件。
